On the afternoon of October 16, ZUWE and Zhejiang First Hydro & Power Construction Group Co., Ltd. jointly held a meet-and-greet for Kyrgyz international students under the university–enterprise joint training program at the Qiantang Campus. Both parties signed a joint training agreement and presented the plaque for the "China-Kyrgyzstan ZJWEU Class." Attendees included Wan Jian, President of ZUWE; Shen Zili, Vice President of ZUWE; and Du Rongce, General Manager of Zhejiang First Hydro & Power Construction Group Co., Ltd. The meeting also brought together the first batch of Kyrgyz students in the "China-Kyrgyzstan ZUWE Class," enterprise representatives, heads of relevant schools and functional departments, and faculty representatives.
Lumei, an international student from the 2024 cohort, shared her insights and experiences of studying and living at the university as a senior student representative. Gena, representing the 2025 cohort, delivered a speech expressing her original aspirations for studying in China and her plans for future learning. At the event, the international students presented talent performances including playing traditional Kyrgyz musical instruments, performing folk dances, and singing Chinese songs.
