Recently, the Office of the Department of Education of Zhejiang Province and the Office of the Economy and Information Technology Department of Zhejiang jointly issued the "Notice on the Publication of the List of Provincial Key-Supported Modern Industrial College Construction Sites for 2025." The "Dayu Cybersecurity Modern Industrial College," led by the School of Computer Science and Technology of ZJWEU, was successfully approved as a provincial key-supported modern industrial college construction site, marking a new milestone for our university in serving the national water security strategy and promoting regional digital economy development.
Leveraging the advantageous disciplines of the School of Computer Science and Technology, the Dayu Cybersecurity Modern Industrial College is jointly built in collaboration with leading industry enterprises such as DAS-Security, SUPCON, Meiya Pico, Zhejiang Design Institute of Water Conservancy and Hydroelectric Power, and SECK. Since being designated as a university-level key-supported industrial college in July 2023, the college has focused on addressing cybersecurity pain points in the digital and intelligent transformation of industries such as water conservancy, hydropower, and water services, aiming to cultivate interdisciplinary talents with dynamic defense capabilities and cross-domain collaboration skills.
